School Hours

School opens at 8:50 am and class begins at 9:10 am.

Junior and Senior Infants go home at 1:30 pm 

1st–6th Class go home at 2:30 pm

Please check the school calendar for details of school holidays.

The Board of Management advises parents, guardians and minders that children should not be left alone or unsupervised  in the school grounds or on the road, before or after school opens and closes. 

Children are not covered by insurance if they are left alone, and the school cannot take responsibility for them before or after the times shown above.

We appreciate your care in this regard as it is for the safety of your children.

Morning and Afternoon Care

The Board of Management of Scoil Mhuire provides a Morning and Afternoon Care Service for our students as follow:

Morning Care
An Early Morning Drop Off Service is available for all of our pupils from 8:00–8:50am each morning
Cost: 5 euro per session

Afternoon Care 
Afternoon Care Service for Junior and Senior Infants from 1.30–2.30p.m. As places are limited, priority is given to girls with older siblings in the school.
Cost: 5 euro per session

While booking is essential this is on a 'pay by use' basis and parents/guardians are not asked for a full monthly payment regardless of uptake.  Settlement is expected on a weekly basis and this is much appreciated.
